Weekend Pretties

in the woods in the woods in the woods in the woods in the woods in the woodsJust some pictures of our drizzly walk this morning. I love where I live.

Happy Friday!  This week flew by for me, did it for you too?  This weekend, Parker and I plan to tackle some projects around the house (of course) and hopefully try out an Indian restaurant we’ve heard good things about.  The temperatures are supposed to warm up for us in Atlanta, so we’ll make sure to take long walks with Frank since the single digit weather earlier this week made our walks significantly shorter…though he loved it!  Maybe he’s part husky.

Anywho, here are some fun links to browse through if you find yourself curled up under a blanket trying to stay warm.

The Alt Summit-prep posts are starting to come in (less than two weeks away!) and these three are making me feel excited but slightly nervous too: one, two, three.

35 pictures that prove the world isn’t such a bad place.

This post is making me want to pull my juicer out of the basement and get busy.

Proof that every country song in 2013 was basically the same.

Love the table setting at this Kinfolk gathering.

A very cool photo series that tricks your eyes.

Good job, Hawaii!  I vote Atlanta to be next.

In light of last Friday’s post, this article about creatives constantly doubting their work was nice to read.

James Blunt winning at Twitter (ha).

Upcycled copper wire pendant lights that I’m obsessed with.

Uruguay’s president keeps it real.

This is so cool: heat your home office for $0.02 a day with some Ikea candles and terracotta pots.

Have a good weekend!  See you back here on Monday with a recipe for the best ever chocolate cake that I posted a picture of on Instagram a couple weeks ago.  It was a huge hit from those who actually tasted it so I just have to share with you guys.

xoxo, Katy

Everything said made a ton of sense. But, what about this?
suppose you added a little content? I am not
    suggesting your information isn’t solid.,
however what if you added a post title that makes people want more?
I mean Weekend Pretties | All Sorts of Pretty is
kinda vanilla. You ought to peek at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create news
headlines to get people to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related picture or
two to grab readers excited about everything’ve written.
In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
