Happy Friday! How was your week? I am excited to finally have countertops and all of my appliances installed, plus a sink with running water (I posted a little peek here on Instagram)! It almost didn’t happen, as these things go, but it did happen and I am so happy to be moving forward with the kitchen. Still a ways to go until it’s finished, but at least I can cook again!
What do you have planned for the weekend? I am hoping to earn a scoop at the new Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream location in Atlanta by hiking at Stone Mountain. Oh, and of course, I’m going to unpack some things for the kitchen (!!!) and stock it with fresh ingredients. What should I make first? It’s been so long since I’ve cooked a real meal.
