It’s supposed to be 80 degrees here today in Atlanta. We’ve had the longest, coldest early spring that I can remember and it’s a delight to finally start seeing some sunshine and being able to feel it on my skin, rather than through a sweater. These are some looks I’m loving right now, in anticipation for warmer weather.one | two | three | four
Oh the 90s are coming back, slowly but surely, and I could not be any more excited. Crop tops! Not that my middle is or may ever be worthy of such a fashion trend, but I adore the look. Higher waisted maxi skirts make it so just a sliver of skin is showing, so at first it seems a bit risque to have your midriff out, but really all of these girls are pretty covered up.
There’s not much I love more than white cotton in the summer, especially with a bohemian vibe. Maybe it’s because my mom wore white cotton on my parent’s wedding day in 1977 (I wore that same dress here, in my engagement photos) so it has such a romantic, loving association for me but mostly I think I just love anything with a throwback to the 70s.
Here are a few pieces that are decidedly more modern, but still feminine and flirty with the movement each piece brings. That top on the right is especially fun with the arms peeking out. And I love any dress or skirt that gives a good twirl.
