Sequined Party Hat

Sequined Party HatI should be packing, running last minute errands for travel size hairspray and giving myself a trendy manicure since I leave for Alt Summit in less than 24 hours (all highly important things for attending a blogging conference), but I had to pop in to show you this sparkly party hat I made for one of the events.  Umba is hosting a dinner for the first night and requested that we all wear party hats.  Ummmm…. AWESOME?!!!  Count me in!  By the way, do you know Umba?  They curate the sweetest handmade goods on the internet, check them out.

Anyway, I made this sequined party hat because I wanted to wear my sequined baseball tee and I mean, really, the opportunity to to wear sequins doesn’t come around that often for me so I threw caution to the wind and freaking went for it.  You like?

Sequined Party Hat suppliesI just bought one of those kraft cones at Michael’s for $1, some sequined trim, a tinsel gift topper, and some silver elastic.  Paint the cone, hot glue the sequined trim on, plop that gift topper sucker on top, attach some elastic (not too tight, don’t want a double chin situation) and call it a day.  Easy.  But fabulous!

I do accept as true with all of the ideas you’ve offered in your post.

They’re very convincing and can definitely work.

Nonetheless, the posts are too short for newbies.
May just you please lengthen them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.
