Aren’t these illustrations by UK artist Ruby Taylor fantastic?  I am so in love!  I absolutely love her use of color, composition and her playful characters.  These are the types of illustrations I would have stared at for long periods of time as a child, finding all the fun little details she’s incorporated to tell a story.  As an adult though, I can still appreciate them and would love to have any one of these hanging by my desk so that when my wanders, it wanders over to something so bright and cheerful.  Ruby says she is often influenced from vintage packaging and design, which I can totally see and love, but her work is completely unique and all her own too.  She’s got such a fun aesthetic that feels so nostalgic.

Go visit Ruby’s portfolio site to view more of her work or stay up to date on her new illustrations by following her blog.
